Sage Dressing

Ingredients

14 to 15 cups day old bread cubes – let dry or toast (Homemade bread is best)

2 cups chopped celery

2 cups chopped onion

1 tsp. salt

Pepper to taste, if desired

tsp. rubbed sage – or more (Homegrown sage is best)

6 eggs, beaten

Chicken or turkey broth

Directions

Combine bread, celery, onion, sage, salt, pepper-if desired. Mix well. Add beaten eggs. Mix well. Add enough to chicken or turkey broth to moisten well. Place in a greased 8 x 10 x 2 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45minutes or until meets your satisfaction.
